Branco Hase

Branco-Hase Collaboration is a partnership between the two independent artists Fernanda Branco (Brazil) and Christina Lederhaas (Austria), working on the field of Physical Theater since 2004. They have been developing their own expression throughout a research on voice and movement via inner dynamics and body’s organic way of thinking. In the same way they work on creation of performances.

Branco and Lederhaas studied Corporal Mime at International School of Corporal Mime (London) and were participants of two work-sessions held by Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards.

Branco-Hase was award with the International Mime Prize in Belgium, 2004 with the performance: Open Books – I can only see a library. Since then, they have been performing in different cities of Europe and collaborating with various artists, exploring the relations between theater, dance, music and visual art.
